Terms of Service & End User License Agreement

These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and BachGround regarding your access to and use of the BachGround platform.

If you use BachGround on behalf of a company, studio, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and you must provide accurate, current, and complete account information.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account. You must notify BachGround promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

BachGround provides AI-assisted music composition and scoring tools, including Video Composer, for video and related creative workflows.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, BachGround grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the service. BachGround retains all rights in the service, models, software, website, and related technology.

BachGround may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

BachGround offers weekly subscriptions and one-time credits. The current prices and included balances are shown below and at checkout.

Unused weekly allowance resets on renewal. Purchased credits do not expire and are used after weekly allowance. Existing unused Notes convert to persistent credits at $0.02 credit per Note.

Fees are due at the time of purchase. Except where required by law or by a mandatory payment-provider policy, purchases are non-refundable.

Usage balances have no cash value and may not be transferred unless BachGround expressly allows it in writing.

Outputs created under a legacy Short pack remain subject to any attribution requirement that applied when that pack was purchased.

Attribution is not required for new outputs generated under Plus, Pro, or purchased credits.

You remain responsible for ensuring that your use of any output complies with platform rules, client agreements, union requirements, and third-party rights.

You retain rights in the videos, prompts, scripts, reference materials, and other content that you submit to BachGround.

As between you and BachGround, and to the extent permitted by law, you own the specific generated outputs produced for your account once applicable fees have been paid and these Terms have been followed.

BachGround retains all rights in the service, models, training methods, trademarks, site content, and underlying technology. These Terms do not transfer any ownership in BachGround’s software or models.

If you want uploads or outputs associated with your account to be excluded from model training or evaluation, email hello@bachground.com from the email address tied to your account and include “AI Training Opt-Out” in the subject line.

If you want us to delete account data or specific materials, email hello@bachground.com with enough detail for us to identify the relevant account or files.

BachGround may retain limited records, backups, security logs, or transaction data where retention is required for legal, tax, compliance, fraud-prevention, or system-integrity purposes.

You may not use BachGround in ways that are unlawful, infringing, abusive, deceptive, or harmful to the platform or to others.

• Upload or use material that you do not have the right to process.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to BachGround systems.
• Use generated outputs in a manner that violates third-party rights or misrepresents the origin, licensing status, or authorship of the work.
• Upload malware, automate abusive traffic, or otherwise interfere with the stability or security of the service.

BachGround is an experimental technology service. Generated outputs should be reviewed by a human before public release, client delivery, or commercial exploitation.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BachGround disclaims warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BachGround will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the service or these Terms.

BachGround’s total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to BachGround during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

BachGround may suspend or terminate access to the service if you breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, misuse the platform, or if suspension is otherwise required by law.

Upon termination, your right to access the service ends immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, excluding conflict-of-law rules.

Unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, the Istanbul (Central) courts and enforcement offices will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or related to these Terms.

BachGround may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on the site. Material changes will apply prospectively from the updated effective date.

Your continued use of the service after an update becomes effective means that you accept the revised Terms.
